There is a time when to replace indoor cycling shoes

Should you replace your shoes?

When parts start to separate, disintegrate or show signs of significant wear, it is time to replace your cycling shoes. The first part to fail is the sole. It is advisable to inspect the shoes every few months to make sure they are in good shape.

When should I replace my pedals?

If cleats get so bad that they release premature or stick, it's time to replace them. The cleat-gripping pedal hardware is part of the release mechanism. The parts can be made of plastic, carbon fiber, or steel, but constant use will grind them down.

How long do the cleats last?
